A Case of Pelviscopic Management of Ovarian Pregnancy

Abstract

|
Ovarian pregnancy is a rare form of extrauterine gestation, but occurs mere frequently than previously realized. Because IUDs protect the endometrium and, to a certain degree, the oviducts from implantation, the rate of ovarian pregnancy may increase among IUD users. We have experienced a case of ovarian pregnancy that occurred in IUD user. We managed it by pelviscopic surgery, which is popular recently because of its merits. So we report our experience with brief review of the literatures.
